Mexico. Expo Seguridad México inaugurated a new edition of its face-to-face event, which took place from November 2 to 4 at the Citibanamex Center of the CDMX, where speakers specialized in security intervened, products and services were presented, and meetings were held, face to face, between visitors, exhibitors, professionals of different specialties and those in charge of public security.
More than 300 exhibitors welcomed the thousands of visitors who came to the stands in order to reconnect with their colleagues, learn about new launches and generate important business within the local and international industry.
During the opening ceremony that took place at 1:00 p.m., Jorge Hagg, director of Expo Seguridad México and Expo Seguridad Industrial; Manuel Espino Barrientos, commissioner of the Federal Protective Service; Myriam Urzúa Venegas, head of the Secretariat of Integral Risk Management and Civil Protection of Mexico City; and Víctor Manuel Aguilar Talavera, executive secretary of the State Public Security System, of the State of Mexico.
Jorge Hagg indicated that the date of this inauguration represented a milestone 30 months since the previous edition of Expo Seguridad Mexico was held, "and after the last closure on May 9, 2019, we are now starting the 18th edition of this event, the 13th of Expo Seguridad Industrial and the tenth of the Congress of the Forces of Order. In that period there were human losses, but there were also people who knew how to help, as is the case of people who took care of health, or private security, an activity that remained as a first necessity, and that contributed to our meeting today. "
As a complement, the executive noted that recently, to consolidate Expo Seguridad, an agreement was reached with FAMEX (Feria Aeroespacial México), to join forces and present a new concept under the slogan "Expo Seguridad México and FAMEX, with a firm foot on the ground and a look at the sky, for the security of Mexico". In addition, he announced the conclusion of an agreement with different entities to issue a badge that will be known as "Safe Mexico", which will seek to promote security, transparency and legality of companies that provide security services, which will help regularize and further boost this economic sector.
Also present to cut the inaugural ribbon were Angélica Carmona, Director of Operations of C5, Ecatepec; Juan Manuel Pérez Cova, first superintendent and general director of the Heroic Fire Department of the CDMX. Aristóteles Martínez Mondragón, president of the National Civil Protection Commission and liaison of the STPS of CANACINTRA; Pablo Vázquez Camacho, Undersecretary of Citizen Participation and Crime Prevention, of the Secretariat of Citizen Security of the CDMX, and Héctor Morfín, portfolio director of RX.
The officials present agreed that Expo Seguridad México and Expo Seguridad Industrial make up a space that has been consolidated as a great forum where suppliers, users and professionals of safety services, occupational health, fire equipment, diverse technology, civil protection and other specialties meet, which exchange information, are professionally updated, they carry out negotiations and, this time, they meet again face to face.
