International. With the inclusion of six new data centers outside the United States and Canada, DICE Corporation announces that it has increased its global presence in order to serve its growing alarm monitoring and interactive video customers overseas.
The six data centers are supporting markets in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Over the next few years, the company is expected to grow to 15 data centers in regions close to an ever-growing customer base.
DICE has two UL 827A active data centers in the United States for geographic redundancy and in different geographic areas to meet UL standards for security and personal protection. For additional redundancy, the data center is powered by two different power companies in two, plus generators, backup batteries, and other power technologies. As active data centers, DICE executes load-balanced signals at both sites with multiple ISP sources from the various operators.
"Having additional data centers allows us to provide not only cloud services in Latin America for those who don't want on-site receivers, but also backup and disaster recovery services, all globally," said Avi Lupo, co-president of DICE Corporation. "This gives our customers a worry-free, cost-saving solution that is future-proof."
