Latin America. Even though Industry 4.0 is a recent reality, the world has already undergone many changes since its implementation. If we consider the period between the beginning of the pandemic and the current moment, the digital transformation accelerated and, increasingly, the use of Artificial Intelligence is present. However, we can't help but think that vulnerabilities like malware, viruses, and worms are advancing at the same pace.
As a company evolves technologically, the more it is subject to cyberattacks. In this scenario, one of the main advantages of electronic security is the prior identification of these attacks. The electronic security market is already fully aligned with Industry 4.0 and offers various technologies for this purpose.
The use of new technologies applied to security can protect lives, assets and entire systems. In addition to the security problem, a well-structured project can provide solutions to measure and improve productivity, redefine priorities and innovate processes, especially in the era of teleworking.
On the other hand, Industry 4.0 also impacts the public sector. It is necessary for Public Authorities to recognize the importance of technology to leverage economic development indices, for example, and to be able to count on the participation of electronic security in innovation projects. Even in agribusiness there are already intelligent mechanisms capable of tracking the creation of cattle and pigs and alerting about changes in the behavior of animals through facial recognition that reads eyes and muzzles.
In the field of health, electronic security has also proven to be increasingly useful and necessary, collaborating with the management of large hospitals and medical clinics. The Hospital das Clínicas, the largest hospital complex in Latin America, uses electronic security systems to control the entry and exit of more than 50,000 people a day in all its institutes, in addition to registering patients and caregivers through technological systems and can even contribute to the police, making available images of the street in case of an event in the surroundings.
The fact is that electronic security is the link of different initiatives that see the future through industry 4.0 to strengthen their activities. Those who do not understand the relationship between electronic security and business are leaving great opportunities.
