International. Altronix announced its new toolkit for fiber optic deployment. Developed in conjunction with Fiber Optic Training Certifier Slayton Solutions, Altronix's new Fiber Termination Kit includes the comprehensive tools needed to facilitate fiber optic completion and testing.
Designed to assist in the implementation of fiber solutions such as the Altronix NetWay ™ Spectrum series, the Altronix FTK100 Fiber Termination Kit includes all the hardware, connectors and tools needed for cable preparation, fiber wire cleaning and cutting, installation of common visible laser "LC" style connectors for connector testing, and optical loss test light source, along with a power meter.
According to Dave Engebretson, principal owner of Slayton Solutions, "This new kit equips technicians with the tools needed for fiber cabling installations and the ability to effectively test fiber links and media converter performance before commissioning."
The Altronix FTK100 Fiber Termination Kit also includes instructional videos for proper fiber deployment and is available through authorized Altronix distributors.
