By joining forces, the two companies bring to market an AI-assisted video management and comprehensive access control solution. The integration is free for PDK resellers and is available immediately.
PDK/Rhombus integration allows users of a Pdk io access control system to easily associate readers with Rhombus cameras, facilitating automated processes that simplify monitoring and improve security. Video clips of all input events are captured and indexed, and can be filtered and searched for easier investigation. PDK credentials, combined with Rhombus' facial recognition algorithms, enable high-precision AI-powered input verification that matches faces to credentials.
It allows to send the system administrators alerts in real time about unauthorized access, tracking of vehicles and people of interest, which speeds up the response time. Rhombus license plate recognition can be linked to garage and parking access points, providing frictionless entry for employees while documenting visitor access.
The integrated PDK/Rhombus solution requires no on-site servers or downloaded software. Integration between systems is achieved in seconds through a few clicks within the software interface via the phone, tablet or computer with Internet access. Distributors can customize activation events and automatic responses to align with customers' security goals. The integration is fully scalable and supports an unlimited number of PDK and Rhombus devices. Both systems offer end-to-end encryption for enterprise-grade security.
