Spain. The agreement reached will last two years, during which Alai Secure will be responsible for the management of the company's Intelligent Network numbering, and the operation, routing and delivery of all mission-critical communications in the Securitas Operation Center (SOC), a center from which all the company's services are coordinated.
Securitas has 18,000 employees in Spain who provide security services to some of the country's leading companies and institutions. The Spanish subsidiary of the multinational of Swedish origin has experienced in recent years a strong growth in its electronic security services becoming a leading player in the national market of technology-based security solutions. This has made the Securitas Operation Center the largest security control center for companies in Spain with around 250 operators and 16,500 customers to whom it provides innovative remote surveillance services.
Alai began to offer service in Spain in 2005 as a Telecommunications Operator -with a CMT License and its own numbering- dedicated to Intelligent Network services for companies. In just a few years, it operates 40% of all Telecare communications nationwide. Its strong focus on Security in communications and its experience in the management and operation of mission-critical communications lead it to become the Reference Telco Operator in the Private Security sector where it currently works with just over 95% of the country's Security companies.
In the words of Javier Anaya, General Director of Alai Secure, "for us it is a pride and recognition to have been chosen by a reference of Private Security for companies, both nationally and internationally, such as Securitas Seguridad España. Our goal is to always offer our customers the most demanding levels of Telco Security at all times for which we make a great effort in R & D dedicating more than 45% of our resources". Javier also pointed out, "security in communications and state-of-the-art technology have been the tandem that has allowed us to differentiate ourselves and be the absolute leader in Critical Communications in the Security Sector. The focus on the customer and the ability to adapt is what allows us to stay in the gap after more than 15 years."
