Mexico. With a large participation of WINGS partners and the main related associations, such as ASIS, COPARMEX-CDXM, AMESP, AMESIS, AMEXIS, NFPA Mexico Chapter and more, represented by their respective leaders and under the validation of the also president of ALAS International, Ricardo Pulido, the change of committee was recently celebrated with the delivery of the leadership and taking of protest of the new committee for 2021.
The outgoing president, Perla Ortega highlighted her thanks and recognition to those who throughout the 2 years of management were allies and promoters of a new collaborative culture in ALAS, special mention to her work team that was key to the objectives set and fulfilled.
This event also highlighted the link and collaboration with the various industry associations with whom in several cases agreements and joint work agreements were reached, establishing common objectives of collaboration with the sector and the community. Following this trend, it was signed during the event with Mr. Armando Zuñiga of Coparmex, with whom we will collaborate closely for the exchange of the academic offer, generation of job board, promotion of Security events, with the aim of increasing the reach between associations and the benefits of their respective members.
Mention was also made of the most important activities that the outgoing National Committee achieved in its management, being perhaps one of the most representative, the generation and coordination of different virtual events, motivated by the effect of the social confinement motivated by COVID-19, where resilience was key for the Committee to assume alternative actions that they will seek to maintain the link in the guild and its associates.

With the inauguration of the new Mexico National Committee, Manuel Zamudio (image) already expressed as acting President his conviction to continue promoting and strengthening these links in an inclusive sector, where new works are generated motivated by the participation of all those who seek to contribute to a common goal, such as the growth and professionalization of the Security Industry through education, research, generation of business contact networks, development of standards and support for the interests of its partners. Likewise, he mentioned the great challenge that this management represents but that at the same time means a window of opportunities to generate actions that contribute to strengthen and expand the reach of WINGS for the benefit of its associates.
Manuel Zamudio has more than 25 years of experience in the security sector and a large part of them collaborating with ALAS, where his experience, capabilities and initiatives have contributed to the guild through his participation in different scenarios and associations, from his role as Manager of Industrial Associations of Axis Communications, being also in parallel, international consultant and instructor and specialist in security issues.
Leading a team made up of enthusiastic and recognized volunteers, executives of highly recognized companies in the field, as well as with a first-class management staff, there are already many initiatives and innovation, expectations about the results continue to rise.
