Axis Communications Announces Integration of 2N Operations in Latin America

2N - AxisLatin America. Axis Communications announced that effective January 1, 2021, Latin America will join the U.S. and Canada by integrating 2N into its operations.

In 2016, Axis acquired 2N, a company in the IP intercom market, and this latest expansion will help grow 2N's leading position in the intercom market in the Americas. In addition, aligning with the company will help Axis accelerate growth in the rapidly converging IP intercom market.

Axis Communications' operations in Latin America, including Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, will be staffed with expertise in 2N solutions and will offer the full portfolio of 2N products through Axis' authorized distribution and systems integration channels. All solutions will be supported in Latin America by Axis' technical services team.

"We are excited to further align our operations in the Americas as we expand our 2N integration in Latin America, creating an opportunity to provide our partners and end customers with best-in-class IP intercom as well as a broader solution offering. The introduction of the 2N product line in the LATAM region presents great potential in a market poised for future growth," said Fredrik Nilsson, Vice President, Americas, Axis Communications.

Tomáš Klíma, 2N's Sales Director, commented that the integration will further expand 2N's leading position in the intercom market in the Americas. "We achieved a very successful integration with Axis Communications in the U.S. and Canada previously, and we expect an equally smooth transition in LATAM. This will create more exposure for 2N products and our total solution offering within Axis' existing partner base across the region."

"The Axis organization in Latin America is proud to now offer these solutions, expand our product offering and seamlessly integrate them into our operations. 2N's innovative solutions will create new opportunities for our partners and provide new solutions to our end users," said Leopoldo Ruiz, Regional Director for LATAM at Axis Communications.

The full range of 2N solutions will be available through Axis' authorized distribution and integration channels from January 1, 2021. In addition, Axis Communications will launch a dedicated online support center for Latin America in 2021 that will include design, installation and management tools; product guides and manuals; self-help trainings, webinars, and videos; frequently asked questions and product catalogs.
