Hikvision launches virtual academy for Latin America

Latin America. Hikvision announced the recent launch of Hikvision Academia LATAM, a website designed to offer its customers an easily accessible virtual learning space with content of great interest (www.Hikcolegio.com).

The company explained that with this initiative it seeks to improve industry standards with an extensive training program designed to provide its customers and partners with a wide portfolio of resources and accreditations in order to increase their knowledge about the range of products and solutions that the company has.

"Hikvision Academia will focus specifically on the needs and interests of our clients, who will have the opportunity to acquire vital knowledge that will allow them to return to their businesses with tools and techniques to increase the productivity, creativity and success of their companies, as well as answers to their technical problems," says Luis Lee, Technical Center Manager of Hikvision LATAM.

Jorge Pérez, Technical Support Trainer for Hikvision Latam explains, for his part, that customers and partners will be able to have virtual content through courses and videos of configuration processes, as well as explanations of technologies and concepts.

"Hikvision Academia LATAM is aimed at anyone who wants to increase their knowledge, from the basic to the most advanced levels. We could say that the content will cover the National Distributor (ND), that is, our distributor that sells both to SI (System Integrator) for the project part and to the DPP (Dealer Partner Program) for the channel part, as well as to installers and end users, in this way they will expand their knowledge in our solutions, products and technologies".

He adds that the courses offer easy-to-understand hands-on training sessions, which propose the skills to successfully install and deploy Hikvision's security solutions. In addition, the courses will be created according to the needs and updates of the market.

Hikvision LATAM Academy
With this new tool, the student will find courses and technical videos of products and solutions in application scenarios where the main characteristics will be highlighted, as well as the configuration and operation. With this series of video surveillance courses accredited by Hikvision, your existing video experience in the various training centers of the Hikvision Academy will be validated. It is recommended that the learner have a minimum of 12 months of experience in the surveillance industry when joining these courses.
