Latin America. For the first time, SoftGuard will hold a cybersecurity course focused especially on the protection of monitoring centers with brand systems.
From June 30 to July 2, from SoftGuard's distance education platform, three two-and-a-half-hour days of cybersecurity training will be offered with David Pereira, President of SecPro.
"Currently companies are concerned about cyberattacks that threaten their computer systems, this threat from cybercriminals is not only at the business level or large scale, these attacks can affect us all, so cybersecurity is one of the professional and technical specialties most demanded by companies. The risks to which monitoring centers are exposed, especially in this pandemic scenario where many companies are carrying out their operations through teleworking from the homes of operators, make it necessary to create guidelines that guide towards a responsible use of resources. SoftGuard understands this perfectly and designed this Cybersecurity course especially focused on this topic," said Romina Capurso, Marketing at SoftGuard.
The objective of the course is that attendees receive the knowledge to protect desktops and laptops, protect the network and servers, keep data safe, know the most dangerous security threats and understand how cloud security works against malware. David Pereira will develop the contents in a dynamic and practical way, so that the student has active participation in the course.
On the first day of activities, concepts and definitions will be addressed, adding best practices: implementation, configuration and control. On the second day, vulnerabilities and threats at the central level (operating systems, clients, services) will be developed, examples and demonstrations will be given. Countermeasures will also be explained, such as securing the SoftGuard environment, its defense and mitigation.
Finally, on the third day the defense strategies will be taught: build a secure framework where to implement the alarm monitoring platform (detection of attack surface, defense in depth and assume the gap) the backup strategies of the SoftGuard system (importance of testing the backup files), the cybersecurity policies to be implemented, among other contents.
The Cybersecurity course is limited, those who wish to register, can enter the following registration link: https://softguard.com/eventos-2/
