International. Alai Secure held with the collaboration of NanoComm and Hikvision, a special webinar entitled "Portable Security Solutions to Protect Your Business during the Crisis", in which companies from the electronic security industry participated -monitoring centers, electronic surveillance companies, installers, etc- to analyze the situation, the new challenges facing the sector caused by the COVID-19 crisis, and the latest trends in Security solutions.
Rafael Padilla, Account Manager of Alai Secure in Colombia, was in charge of opening the event. Rafael began his speech by pointing out how companies in Colombia have been forced to close their doors temporarily due to the confinement situation that the country is experiencing. This new situation, he pointed out, has caused a considerable increase in looting in businesses, which make it necessary to deploy new security solutions, portable and connected, which allow us to put a stop, quickly and in a controlled way, to this situation.
The second guest speaker was Andrés Delgado, Commercial Manager of Nanocomm. Andrés pointed out as a differential value of his company offer that all the communications of his equipment are redundant, which allows them to guarantee their customers 0% of falls.
Andrés, stressed that his equipment is connected by a triple means of communication: to GPRS networks -4G, 3G and previous networks-, in addition to Wi-Fi networks and Mesh networks. This allows their deployed teams, in the event of a drop in Wi-Fi and 4G networks, to have an alternative third way of communication, since the equipment communicates with each other through a long-range, multi-link and private LoRaWan network. All Nanocomm equipment is integrated with the leading brands of alarm panels on the market and with all monitoring software in the country.
After this intervention, it was the turn of Alexander Gutiérrez, Presale of Hikvision Colombia, who showed in his presentation entitled "IoT Convergence for security applications", the wide range of video security equipment that the company has for public security environments in cities, large corporations, small and medium enterprises, and for final consumers. Alexander stressed that operating hand in hand with Alai Secure as a partner allows it to manage communications, effectively and securely, and offer artificial intelligence services.
Alexander highlighted the virtues of the Hikvision AXIOM Alarm Kit, applicable to office, home, retail and hospitality, and highlighted the benefits of the Hik-Connect application, which allows you to monitor the entire scenario over the area in which the device has been placed, as well as receive the alarm notification if necessary.
The third presentation, under the title "Security in M2M / IoT communications", was given by Rafael Padilla, who expressed the importance of guaranteeing security in communications as a key piece to ensure the success of the service. Rafael presented the Alai Secure High Performance SIM card, specially designed for M2M/IoT communications, a rugged card, five times more durable and resistant to adverse conditions of use, ideal for service environments such as those presented by Nanocomm, and the new High Consumption SIM, specially designed to offer video security services with streaming of very large videos such as those presented by Hikvision.
He also highlighted some security services such as secure VPNs, protection against denial-of-service attacks, the anti-fraud service or the recent launch of the SIM360 space, a new concept of 100% digital management that serves to manage and control in real time the life cycle of the service thanks to its Self-Management Platform and the MINOS management tool, that allows to improve and streamline the communication between the user and the technical support team -24/7, local and specialized-.
Rafael concluded by highlighting the benefits of M·Key Secure, Alai Secure's new authentication, remote opening and access control system. An intelligent system adaptable to service environments in hotels, car parks, smartbuilding, vending, elevators, residential and lockers.
