Mexico. The auditorium court of the Tijuana basketball team Zonkeys was converted a month ago into an outpatient hospital to treat potential patients of the global health disease. This enclosure required a tremendously effective measurement and prevention solution that would help them check the temperature of the medical, cleaning and safety personnel who contribute to this cause.
Therefore, Hikvision donated a temperature detection bullet-type thermal imaging camera, model DS-2TD2617B-3/PA, which thanks to artificial intelligence and the implementation of Deep Learning algorithms, reveals the body temperature of several people in motion, avoiding false alarms that can generate other sources of heat.
Andrea Jauregui, General Manager of the auditorium of the Zonkeys team in Tijuana, indicates that one of the main symptoms of this virus is body temperature, and when detected, they were able to identify several cases of people who were unaware that they could be affected.
"For us it is essential that companies like Hikvision join forces to face this pandemic, as it gives us greater functionality and credibility to this project. Having much more complete facilities gives us an optimal functioning of the hospital. By finding out the exact temperature of patients and doctors, we will know what state they are in. In this way, the Hikvision camera will help us evaluate the staff."
He mentions that Hikvision's thermal equipment is strategically located at the main access door of the staff, so that before entering, and after their working day, their body temperature is taken.
"We are very grateful for the support of Hikvision and all the citizens who have helped us to meet part of our objectives. We still have a long way to go, because the most difficult part comes, which is to supply the Zonkeys hospital and our 500 doctors. We are sure that we will reach the goal with the support of all companies and Tijuana," concludes the executive.
