International. Genetec will hold for the first time a virtual expo, called Genetec Connect'DX, which will be held from April 20 to 22 of this year and which already has the pre-registration stage open.
Genetec has designed Connect'DX to connect physical security professionals around the world directly with Genetec experts and industry leaders. Following the cancellation of events and conferences such as ISC West, IFSEC and Intertraffic, due to Covid-19, the company stated that it wants to get involved and support its customers as it normally does in person.
"Our team will bring Genetec solutions directly to customers and we are happy to do so in a new format in April. While we love in-person contact, we are very excited about the opportunity to meet with everyone online," said Andrew Elvish, Vice President of Marketing at Genetec. "We are ready to showcase our portfolio of physical security solutions, discuss the key trends and technologies that are impacting our industry, and provide an overview of what's to come from our product team's perspective."
While the full Connect'DX agenda and list of presenters are about to be published, the event is shaping up to include:
• Sessions on key trends and new technologies.
• Presentations with industry leaders, including Pierre Racz, President of Genetec.
• Demonstrations of Genetec products and Q&A sessions with the product team.
• Panel discussion on industry topics, including privacy, cybersecurity and the cloud.
• Free training sessions by our Training Department.
