Latin America. ALAS opened its call for all those interested in applying for the 2020 ALAS Awards, which seek to recognize projects related to electronic security in Latin America and the Caribbean that stand out for their innovation.
The work should focus on Security Systems for the prevention and protection of people, properties, processes, goods and assets in both the public and private, commercial, residential and industrial areas, in the following thematic areas:
- Intrusion systems, theft, perimeter protection.
- CCTV CCTV systems, cameras, recorders, management software, video analytics applications
- Access control systems, including readers, windlasses, biometrics.
- Fire detection and protection systems, evacuation audio
- BMS building control systems, integrating safety technologies
- Comprehensive Security Management Software Systems
- Video surveillance and urban security systems
- Integrated Security Systems
- Advanced technological alternatives in security systems
Projects can participate in two categories: Public Projects or Private Projects, and this year ALAS will also recognize with the Industry Personality Award, who for his experience and knowledge in the field of security has managed to impact and contribute with his trajectory to the growth of the security industry in Latin America. It will be the same professionals and protagonists who will nominate these personalities.
