Milestone has launched the Troubleshooting Assistant, a free tool that guarantees access to these innovation opportunities to a wide range of players in the industry, such as consultants, integrators and end users.
What is the Milestone Troubleshooting Wizard?
The Troubleshooting Assistant is an online tool that allows XProtect users to identify on their own the origin of some problems in the platform, in addition to guiding them step by step to a resolution.
The Wizard is like an interactive decision tree that generates support for maintaining, updating, and troubleshooting common issues such as accessing the Smart Client, adding a camera, or difficulties related to server performance.
The guide leads the user through a branching process in which it is possible to select answers to increasingly specific questions. This Assistant promotes and complements the articles hosted in the resources offered by Milestone, such as the Knowledge Base, the User Forum, among others.
The Troubleshooting Wizard is available online through the Milestone Support Page. The company will regularly update the Wizard with new guides to fix other issues as users need them.
