Colombia. Since this October, the company G4S is in charge of the private security of the Port of Barranquilla.
In Latin America and the Caribbean, G4S has more than 75,000 people and operates in more than 23 countries in the region, with an important presence in all sectors of the economy.
In Colombia it has been present for more than 50 years with 13 offices nationwide and about 8,000 men serving clients such as the American Embassy, Cerromatoso, Coca Cola, Postobón, Grupo Aval and regionally the Clínica La Asunción, Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, Nuestro Atlántico Shopping Center, Vopak de Colombia S.A., Laboratorio Incobra, among others.
They also protect the Port Societies of Buenaventura, Santa Marta and del Dique (Cartagena), as well as Puerto Brisa in La Guajira.
"We are confident that your experience will be key to fulfilling our purpose of ensuring the safety of people and cargo," reads the statement released by the Port of Barranquilla.
