Argentina. The monitoring specialist company, ADT, managed to obtain the certification of its monitoring center under the IRAM 4174 standard granted by the Argentine Institute of Standardization and Certification.
The IRAM 4174 standard for alarm monitoring is a standard that stipulates compliance with certain control fees. Monitoring centers – or remote control centers as defined by the Institute for Standardization and Certification – constitute the "brain" of alarm systems. Complying with the requirements established by the standards is essential to have a reliable system.
ADT's alarm signal control center has a team of qualified operators who process all signals received on a daily basis. All of them are available to provide service and supervision 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Currently this plant is able to meet around 8,000 daily requirements (or 3 million in the year) and each agent has a productivity of 180 daily events, since 2016 the company has achieved an improvement in its response being currently at 98.66%.
"Having managed to be certified by the IRAM standards for the ninth consecutive year accounts for the company's commitment to provide a quality service according to the expectations of our client," said the Head of Monitoring, Diego Di Yelsi, adding that "this allows ADT to give assurance to our customers that we can assist them under any circumstances, documenting processes in the area to offer an increasingly better service and making a clear difference in the market".
