International. Hanwha Techwin launched the new Wisenet Q mini series. A new line designed as a super compact size of 99 mm (3.9 in.), approximately 40% smaller than its predecessor, allowing it to integrate anywhere, while facilitating effortless installation, even on a ceiling or wall inside or outside retail stores.
The Wisenet Q mini series consists of four dome cameras (QND-6011 / QND-6021 / QND-8011 / QND-8021) with a resolution between 2MP and 5MP. As an expansion of the Wisenet Q series, this new launch line adopts all the advantages of the previous series, while also supporting essential video security features at a reasonable price. Hanwha Techwin also plans to launch several types of Q mini series this year to increase customer satisfaction, including fisheye and flateye cameras.
This line features two lenses (2.8mm/4mm) that allow users to select and use according to the desired direction and angle, while the 'Aisle View' mode allows vertically or horizontally oriented monitoring in long, narrow spaces of some stores, such as aisles and islands. It also supports HDMI output (QND-8011 / QND-8021) to help users connect directly to a monitor or TVs for public view, while the "Open Platform" has strengthened connectivity with various partners.
In addition, the cameras are tightly integrated with 'Retail Insight', Hanwha Techwin's exclusive retail solution, as business intelligence in sales is another key feature of these cameras. By integrating with Retail Insight, the cameras identify store congestion in advance and provide effective people counting management by analyzing the average number of customers and time accumulated in a specific area. Not only that, but they analyze the information of various stores (for example, franchise data), generating useful reports for store management. Therefore, it serves as a comprehensive solution to operate stores more efficiently and contributing to sales growth.
