Latin America. Axis Communications confirmed the appointment of Leopoldo Ruiz as its new Regional Director for the Latin American area, an appointment that aims to meet the needs and expectations of the market in the region.
Leopoldo Ruiz is a Telecommunications Engineer and holds an MBA from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He has more than 20 years of experience in renowned Hi Tech companies, leading sales teams focused on strategic vertical segments.
Together with Francisco Ramírez, Country Manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean; Alessandra Faria, Managing Director in South America, and a strong working group, will form a great team for the Latin American region, which will guide the company towards important growth goals.
Since June 3, Leopoldo has already fulfilled his new functions from Mexico City, where the company is confident that the management team focused on LATAM will provide better alignment for its customers and partners, while offering greater development opportunities for the company.
Previously, Leopoldo Ruiz served as Vice President for IT Management in Mexico and Central America at Schneider Electric. In addition, to serve as Sales Director for Avaya Mexico.
