News from ISTC Corp in Colombia

Colombia. ISTC was present at the International Security Fair E+S+S 2018, during the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of August 2018. The distribution company once again consolidates itself as one of the leading companies within the security industry and shows us through its participation in large-scale fairs, that visionary philosophy that characterizes its team who is always looking for new lines of business.

This year, in order to offer an exchange of information regarding new technologies, strategies and products; the company presented different talks and innovative demo equipment for perimeter protection, automation and communication solutions at its stand.

"For us, ISTC, it is very important to participate in the ESS FAIR, since we have an approach with our business partners: current and future. It is a welcome opportunity to recognize the state of the market and identify new opportunities. At our stand, we were accompanied by the Honeywell, CAME, IRIS ID and HID factories. We took advantage of the framework of the fair to launch our SpotterRF radar solution, which thanks to its versatility allows our integrators to offer a new option in perimeter protection, reducing costs and increasing information in the details of possible intrusions. In general, we notice a greater offer in renewable energy products. ISTC is no stranger to this trend and we have products and a high experience in the supply of these systems. Our participation helps us to identify new needs of a more demanding public, in different scenarios'' - Jorge A. Gomez, Sales Manager, ISTC Andina.

Honeywell accompanied ISTC presenting its two product categories : Building Products and Connected Buildings, and presented an interesting talk given by Eng. Gustavo Adolfo Muñoz Cortes about Wireless Fire Detection System Solutions.

During the three days, Guillermo García, Presales Engineer for ISTC, shared three informative talks about the communication solution: "Redes PON" supplied by the ADTRAN factory. Guillermo cleared doubts of the attendees about the qualities, advantages, success stories and examples of this solution.

"As for the talks, there was a lot of participation from people. A few years ago attendees did not have more knowledge about PON networks, now we have an audience with a greater notion about what they are, how they work and much more open to share their projects. Now users come to the fair with the intention of comparing products. When it comes to security, our customers prefer practical and effective solutions that provide more services and less infrastructure. Thanks to our strategic allies, in this case ADTRAN, we have the possibility of offering solutions that support these characteristics; such as the virtualization of 19 technologies in a single machine, an added value that differentiates us from other distributors" says Engineer García.

ISTC, together with its strategic partners AIPHONE, Fluidmesh, Indigo Care, KeriSystems, NEXSAN and Spotter RF, created a great alliance to carry out another successful ESS FAIR 2018. ISTC Corp says the result was very positive and opened doors to new conversations and new business opportunities with customers who have specific needs and different demands. Once again ISTC Corp surprises with the new additions to the portfolio and positions itself as a company that sells more than security products, has integral solutions for medium and large-scale projects.
