Latin America. Finding an outdoor sensor may seem like a complicated task, however, it is necessary to protect from there. Alarm systems should start from the outside or perimeter and then span the inside.
Most companies and people install an alarm system in order to avoid intruders or any other emergency situation such as a fire or theft, and external sensors allow to know immediately any of these eventualities, in addition to having a deterrent effect and perception of security.
On the other hand, to the aspect of security we must add the inclusion of some technologies such as Infrared, microwave, 3G, GPRS, among others, which have made it gain in greater precision avoiding false alarms and real-time transmission of events, which generates greater reliability.
It is also important to note that not all detectors are the same, nor universal. It usually falls into the error of always using the same types of detectors, at the same installation height and with the same lens. Each situation is different and requires an analysis for a correct operation.
It is already clear that the answer is then to install outdoor sensors to increase safety, but this raises several questions: Which products are the most efficient, what strategies to use to achieve increased safety, what types of outdoor sensors exist?
During the next two weeks the Solutec Group will be sharing with our readers tips that will be very useful to solve all these questions.
