Hikvision Introduces Cameras and NVRs to Maximize Security

Latin America. Hikvision announced its new range of cameras and NVRs EasyIP 4.0. Leveraging the capabilities of our EasyIP 3.0 range, these cameras offer practical, simple and affordable solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.

EasyIP 4.0 products are based on Hikvision's H.265+ smart codec, which reduces bandwidth and storage requirements by up to 50% over H.265 and enables SMBs to significantly reduce their IT expenses.

Another advantage of the EasyIP 4.0 range is that it introduces a number of technological innovations that help companies make the most of their surveillance and security capabilities.

Hikvision's AcuSense: Key Advantages
Hikvision's AcuSense integration into EasyIP 4.0 IP cameras and NVRs helps filter out false alarms with more than 90% accuracy and react more quickly to real threats. Hikvision's AcuSense works by detecting people or vehicles and effectively filters false alarms triggered by natural phenomena such as rain or leaf movement. Using strobe lights and audible alarms, Hikvision's AcuSense-enabled cameras also deter potential intruders before a security breach occurs.

On the other hand, Hikvision's AcuSense cameras also incorporate the ultra-low lighting technology "Powered by DarkFighter", which provides superior surveillance images, even at night. Combined with ultra-high-definition video features, Powered by DarkFighter ensures that organizations can identify security threats and react effectively, and also facilitates video testing in the event of a security breach.

EasyIP 4.0 Network Video Recorders (NVRs), as an extension of Hikvision's AcuSense, offer a "quick target search" feature, thanks to which security teams can quickly search for graphic sequences in the event of a security incident. This allows teams to save hours of work, otherwise they would have to perform manual searches on the entire series of images.

Hikvision ColorVu: key advantages
EasyIP 4.0 ColorVu cameras use complementary warm lighting to provide vivid color video images, even at night. Continuous colour accentuation functions are facilitated thanks to an F1.0 super aperture, a more advanced sensor, complementary warm lighting and a range of diverse technologies. EasyIP 4.0 ColorVu cameras that provide more colorful and vivid video images protect against security breaches, regardless of whether they occur day or night.

The new EasyIP 4.0 ColorVu cameras can be used in conjunction with one of Hikvision's AcuSense-enabled NVRs to minimize false alarms and speed up desired searches.

Unprecedented security for small and medium-sized business installations

EasyIP 4.0 cameras and NVRs offer inexpensive, high-quality surveillance solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.

Frank Zhang, Managing Director of Hikvision's International Product Marketing Department, said, "In the past, surveillance features such as high-definition video, color night video, automated strobe lights and audible alarms were not available to many small organizations. Now, with the EasyIP 4.0 range, we have made these features reach small businesses, helping them achieve much higher levels of security."
