Mexico. Expo Seguridad México (ESM) and Expo Seguridad Industrial (ESI), evolve at the pace that the industry requires, that is why in the next edition to be held from April 24 to 26, technological innovations will be presented that will build a new history in the national and international market, said Rodrigo Monroy, Marketing Director of both events.
In the facilities of the University of the Americas Puebla, UDLAP Jenkins Graduate School, the Marketing Director indicated that these exhibitions are the ideal scenario to know the market trends, generate business, find solutions and weave networks that enable the development of the security industry in Latin America.
He stressed that both events renewed their image, maintaining the characteristic features and colors, but with strong graphic elements, which denote dynamism, technology and elegance, this in order to offer the 16 thousand visitors an experience that exceeds their expectations, within a more dynamic and technological environment.
On the other hand, Mario Arroyo, Spokesperson for Expo Seguridad México (ESM), stressed that this event is a platform for innovation and human resources, where companies and government know about technological innovations.
He stressed that the federal government invests 10 billion dollars annually in security, because for Mexico it is vital to invest in this area and learn about new technologies.
In the sixteenth edition of Expo Seguridad México (ESM) two areas will be premiered; the first responds to the demand for network security challenges, with a space dedicated to cybersecurity; the second is a drone pavilion.
Meanwhile, the Spokesperson of Expo Seguridad Industrial (ESI), Aarón Romero, said that for the first time in this event, a catwalk of industrial security products will be presented, which will allow the exhibitor to talk about their products with more time and a greater number of people.
In addition to having the VII International Congress of Integral Safety (CISI) 2018, with a cycle of conferences that will present topics such as Regulatory Changes, Risk Management, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Best Practices, Fire Protection Engineering, Integral Safety Links, Electrical Risks, Administration of Emergency Plans and Management Systems.
During the press conference, the panel "The Challenges and Threats to Security during the Mexican Elections 2018" was held, Rubén Salazar Vázquez, General Director of the Intelligence Consultancy Ettelekt; Arturo Ávila Anaya, President of IBN Industrias Militares and Editor of B Analytics; Roberto Wong Urrea, Political Consultant and Director of Map Data; as well as Alejandro Lumbreras, Advisor to the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for the Attention of Electoral Crimes.
Arturo Ávila, indicated that in the last year 31 million crimes were committed in Mexico, of which 90.2 percent were not reported; placing the year 2017, as the most violent. He said that in a survey conducted by INEGI, 72.5 percent of the population believes that security will worsen in the coming years.
Meanwhile, Alejandro Lumbreras, said that in electoral years it is more difficult to be political and more when there are thousands of people looking for a position of popular election.
