Mexicana Complet foresees investments of eight million pesos next year

Latin America. The Mexican Complet plans to invest eight million pesos in 2018 to consolidate the manufacture of national UPS equipment that provides industrial electrical protection and thereby support the economy of thousands of companies that require these devices.

From a bank to gas stations, Metro and Mexibus stations, or airports, among others, they require that the service they offer does not stop or be affected if there is a power outage in these facilities, said Horacio Aguirre, commercial manager of Complet.

He said that in the event of a failure in the electricity supply, which increases in times of rain or during an earthquake, a UPS equipment allows to support operations for 15 minutes or longer, and if there is an emergency plant, it can be turned on immediately so as not to interrupt the service.

The UPS that are manufactured in Mexico become between 10 and 20 percent cheaper than those of foreign origin, with the advantage in addition to including personalized advice for their installation and better use and protection, said the executive.

He indicated that its distribution force works with a robust program for channels that provides continuous training and advice, so that they carry out an adequate implementation in each project.

Aguirre said that Complet, the only Mexican brand that manufactures this equipment, has already been manufacturing industrial UPSs for three years at its plant in Mexico City, and its equipment has surpassed in performance and reliability those made in China.

The investments for 2018 for research and development will be around eight million pesos, an amount with which it is also intended to consolidate its offer and greater penetration of these equipment, he said.

Aguirre warned that despite the need in Mexico for this equipment, there are very few specialists who can offer an accurate recommendation to companies about which is the one that best suits them and how to install it properly.

"We as a brand give support to the end user and the after-sales service is channeled with those who have this knowledge for proper operation and electrical protection, something that foreign brands do not offer," he said.
