Milestone Systems, the open platform IP video management software (VMS) company, received confirmation of Lenel's OpenAccess Alliance (OAAP) program certification for the integration of OnGuard® 7.3, 7.2 and 7.1 access control through Milestone's Xprotect® Access 2017 R2. With this certification, Lenel customers using the Milestone VMS can view and manage OnGuard access control events from the XProtect user interface, improving their operational efficiency.
Prior to this integration, customers had to go to Lenel's OnGuard alarm monitoring app to manage access control events. Customers now have the option to manage and view conventional access control events in Milestone's XProtect interface depending on their operational preferences.

Through lenel's OAAP program certification, OnGuard users not only get a plethora of customizable solutions, but also the assurance that any interface they choose has been tested and certified by Lenel to ensure its stability and uninterrupted operation with OnGuard.

This strengthening of the strategic alliance between Lenel and Milestone follows the announcement earlier this year that the companies' combined offerings are now available in the Americas through Lenel's sales channel and with reduced licensing fees.
