International. Awarded by the UK Government's Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, this industry-backed certificate is designed to help businesses protect themselves from common cyberattacks.
The certificate received by Hanwha Techwin Europe validates that the company has in place the necessary procedures to minimize the threat of an attack on the IT infrastructure at the company's headquarters in Chertsey, Surrey, as well as on laptops used by employees elsewhere.
"We regularly evaluate and update our IT security to eliminate the risk of any disruption to our business and that of our partners," said Bob (H.Y.) Hwang, Managing Director of Hanwha Techwin Europe. "Our cybersecurity program is a core element of our 'We Move with Confidence' philosophy and reflects the proactive attitude we take to protect sensitive data."
"Beyond the scope of the Cyber Essentials program, we are always vigilant to ensure that our Wisenet cameras, recording devices and software you have placed your trust in protect your property, people and assets, and have what it takes to minimize the threat of cyberattacks." We have a testing and monitoring program designed to identify new threats that compromise the integrity of our solutions. We are open and honest with our customers when we identify new cybersecurity threats, moving quickly to develop more advanced versions of our firmware to combat them.
