Latin America. Keri Systems, a company specialized in access control, informs of its participation in the International Security Fair, recently held in Bogotá, Colombia. Keri Systems was represented by its spokespersons, Alejandro Loera Harfush, Commercial Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean; Jorge Sánchez Saldaña, Vice President of Operations and International Sales; those who participated in this event of international stature, the most relevant of the security industry in the southern cone, its objective was to present to the attendees its new access control technologies, as well as to disseminate the benefits obtained by consumers with its brand marketing scheme.
Alejandro Loera, Commercial Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean of Keri Systems, expressed his point of view during the event, "regarding the distribution of our solutions in the southern cone, most manufacturers will say that they prefer that their integrators buy through their wholesalers, due to the lack of strength to handle credit and other disbursements of the business. Due to ignorance of this field, as well as several other factors, manufacturers usually negotiate to ensure that their integrators or distributors receive the best possible price through distribution. They do this by creating a distribution price level, or in some cases for integrators in specific vertical markets, for example financial, where they negotiate a special price reduction."
Keri Systems has a good number of wholesalers, all of which typically receive a similar, very competitive distribution price level. This practice opens the door to increased competition, ensuring better product pricing. So how can they ensure that their distributors get the most beneficial price? "We have made sure to have the best wholesalers available, that way distributors can get the best of healthy competition for each specific project," said Alejandro Loera at the close of the Colombian event.
