Axis strengthens its video monitoring systems (VMS) offering

Latin America. AXIS Camera Station 5 is a Video Monitoring System (VMS) with all the necessary functions for small and medium-sized facilities such as shops, hotels, educational centers and production plants, which include from 4 to 50 IP cameras. Together with AXIS S10 series of network video recorders and Axis IP products, it offers a complete video surveillance solution. It is designed to perfectly fit a wide range of network video features and products in order to optimize system reliability.

Axis Communications, presents AXIS Camera Station 5, the latest version of its Monitoring Systems (VMS) offering for small and medium-sized installations. The new version introduces hardware decoding, integration of third-party IP cameras, and optimized rendering with up to three 4K video streams. A new mobile viewing app allows for easy remote monitoring.

Axis Camera Station's user interface is designed for ease of use. The "operator mode" provides a dedicated interface for efficient operation that meets the requirements of the casual and more active user in facilities such as retail stores, schools and factories.

AXIS Camera Station has support for hardware decoding and optimized Axis rendering. The new tracking feature allows users to quickly search for video images from multiple cameras at the same time. In addition, an application for mobile devices based on Android and iOS allows users to see live images from the cameras, as well as those recorded. The solution has 360º recording, H.264 compression, multi-view streaming, Axis Corridor Format, a new format that allows to obtain a vertical video transmission of a "horizontal" image of the camera, Axis Zipstream technology and advanced motion detection. All its functionalities can be easily added with ACAP applications, an open application platform that allows members of the Axis partner program to develop applications that can be downloaded and installed on Axis network cameras and video encoders.

AXIS Camera Station has been developed to provide the user with intuitive operation and ensure that anyone can effectively manage incidents and quickly export evidence in high definition," said Francisco Ramírez, Country Manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean at Axis Communications.
