Westcon and Imperva increase protection in Mexico

Mexico. According to data from the consultancy IDC, by 2018 there will be more than 22 billion computers in the world connected to the Internet, in addition to the fact that 75% of manufacturing value chains will use digitally connected processes, resources, products and services to improve their responsiveness and productivity.

These data confirm that cybersecurity in the face of internal threats, organized cybercrime and hackers is a priority in the face of the rise of the digital economy. Against this background, Westcon, a value wholesaler in advanced networking, security and communications technology solutions, and Imperva, a leader in information security, offer the Mexican market comprehensive solutions to meet the challenge of protecting critical business information, while maintaining compliance with legal and industry standards. In parallel, they also help control costs, IT complexity and potential risks.

"Regarding the protection of databases, we offer total visibility into the use of information, vulnerabilities and access rights. We enable security, audit and risk professionals to improve information security. On the other hand, web applications protect against all attacks, continuously stopping evolving threats. Allowing application developers to reduce the risks of breaches, in addition to addressing key compliance requirements, such as PCI 6.6.", says Victor Anda, Country Director at Imperva Mexico.

Imperva's solutions, distributed by its business partner Westcon, enable a complete security cycle to provide visibility and control over business databases and the applications that use them.
