International. Boon Edam Inc., a leader in the global market for architectural access and revolving door solutions, announced through its CEO, Mark Borto, that demand for its products for this year continues to grow in double digits both in the Americas and globally.
According to the executive, the demand for systems that prevent unauthorized entry to the different spaces is moving from a stage of childhood and early adoption to a phase of mass use.
"Our growth rate has been around 20 percent over the past seven years and our overall revenue has tripled in that span of time; we went from registering a few tens of millions to boosting US$100 million today," says Mark Borto.
In that sense, Latin America has not been the exception in the global growth of the company, according to Magdalena Reyes, Business Development Manager for Mexico, the company has doubled the number of sales since the company began marketing in the region five years ago.
"This progression in our region is largely due to the trust generated by a brand with a physical presence in the territory; this means for the distributor, the integrator or the end user a part of peace of mind in terms of an immediate response or technical support in their own language", explains Magdalena Reyes.
Precisely, the strategy with end users has been a fundamental factor for the global growth of Boon Edam. In addition to that, the company promotes different channels so that security consultants and integrators know the solutions that are available and end users have an increasingly successful solution.
"We focus a lot on support and assistance throughout the product sales cycle, from the presentation of the solution, through installation, to maintenance. Therefore, we have developed a customer support team that often ends up being a service of great value to the end user and to the marketers of the product"; concluded Mark Borto.
