Panama kicked off ALAS events in 2017

Panama. The ALAS Technological Meeting that on this occasion was held in Panama City received more than 70 attendees who took the opportunity to listen to the academic conferences with prominent personalities of the security of the region and the conferences of the sponsors of the event.

The academic conferences were:

  • "How to focus and motivate the Sales team", by Keyra Gonzalez, Regional Sales Manager Central America & Caribbean Interlogix
  • "The role of the security professional in the future", by Jaime Owens, Member of the board of directors of ASIS International. Responsible for protection and surveillance, Atlantic Sector in the Panama Canal
  • "Security threats on the region, how to counter them?", by Alex Omar Garrido Morales, General Manager at Grupo Gresinsa

For their part, the sponsors presented their innovative solutions with the following conferences:

  •  "Integral security in automated buildings", presented by Marcos Pazan, Representative of Anixter's Technology Solutions Support
  • "New long-distance IP solutions with PoE power", by Jaime Trujillo, Sales Manager Central America and Andean Region of NVT Phybridge

  • "Intelligent video and analysis in high definition", by Andrés Macías Valadez, Regional Sales Director for Mexico and Central America  at Avigilon
  • "Human Monitoring, the monitoring revolution", by Jesús Guillermo Granadillo, Engineer specialized in monitoring and access control, Softguard
  • "Cibersecurity: A new challenge in integrated security systems, presentation by Hector Sánchez Cojal, Project and Application Manager for Central America and the Caribbean at Tyco Security Products
  • "Optimize your services, save time and money by controlling your security personnel," by Jhon Jairo Betancur, Account Manager for Latin America at Solutec. 
  • "New technologies of Hikvision", by William Cordero, Pre-sales Engineer of Intcomex
  • During the Meeting, the sponsors presented their products and services in the networking session that also becomes the propitious space to make business contacts between attendees.
