Anixter powers fire detection solutions

Mexico. Anixter, a distributor specialized in network infrastructure, security and unified communications, encourages channels to focus on fire detection solutions, since Mexico is one of the Latin American countries with the highest adoption of this type of technology, mainly in sectors such as retail, transport, health, banking and finance where the rules require protection against possible events of this type.

Hand in hand with strategic allies such as Bosch and Edwards, Anixter seeks to increase the business opportunities of its channels that serve comprehensive physical and electronic security projects.

In this regard, Pilar Gómez, Vice President of Security Solutions for Latin America and the Caribbean at Anixter, said that one of the first actions it is carrying out to help its  business partners is to participate in the events focused on this area, so that the channels can know first-hand basic concepts of fire detection system installations, current regulations and regulations, in addition to being able to interact personally with panels of various types, both for simple installations and those that are used for large projects.

With these efforts, Anixter aims to open the business landscape of its allies and highlight that companies are eager for comprehensive physical security solutions where various technologies such as fire detection systems, intrusion, video surveillance and access control coexist and communicate, among others.

As with other physical security solutions, Anixter supports its integrators to develop their fire detection projects, including the phase of technical accompaniment, design, logistics, various credit options and implementation. In this way they can be sure that they will be delivering the best brands and a well-planned design that truly helps to solve the requirements of each of their customers.

For 2017, a series of courses with a technical profile are planned so that the channels obtain the necessary knowledge in fire detection solutions, other activities are also being prepared that will help integrate solutions and where it is feasible to consolidate all the devices in the same system.
