Latin America. Axis Companion wireless solution includes dome and cube IP cameras, with SD cards for recording video and also video management software to access both live images and recordings through a PC or mobile device. As a comprehensive solution, no standalone DVR is needed and there is also no additional cost for the software. The cameras connect wirelessly for easy installation. Plus, it's easy to set up and operate. It integrates quality components that offer exceptional reliability, and with a 3-year warranty.

Axis Communications launches an all-in-one wireless video surveillance solution for small businesses that allows them to monitor interiors such as shops or offices. They allow up to a week of video recordings to be stored on the hardware, eliminating recurring costs. In addition, people have the ability to access recordings via a PC or mobile device using the free AXIS Companion video management software. On the other hand, Axis Secure Remote Access eliminates the need for manual configuration of the router and ensures an encrypted connection for maximum information security.

"With our all-in-one wireless video surveillance solution for small businesses we respond to the growing demand of this market for a camera system that is easy to configure, manage and provides high quality and reliability. The leaders of these businesses simply do not have time to deal with a complicated user interface," says Francisco Ramírez, Country Manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. In addition, in general, these companies do not have facilities fully connected with network cables. That is why a wireless solution is very attractive. It completely eliminates the need for wiring, which is often time-consuming and a significant part of the installation cost. In addition, they can access the solution through a PC, tablet or smartphone on site or remotely through the Internet, "says Ramírez.

The system includes wireless cameras with different functionalities and shapes. The new AXIS Companion 64GB card and AXIS Companion management software are designed to meet the needs of small businesses for monitoring, configuration and operation. Developed specifically for surveillance cameras, it offers greater durability and resistance, and has capabilities that allow the SD card to detect and report its current status to schedule in advance any maintenance that is required or even its replacement.

AXIS Companion Dome WV and AXIS Companion Cube LW include Axis Zipstream technology that allows you to store high-quality video on the installed SD card. In addition, it can be captured in an HDTV resolution of 1080p or 2 megapixels, with the aim of clearly identifying both people and objects. The Wide Dynamic Range Wide (WDR) feature allows teams to adapt to varying lighting conditions, such as when the sun's rays enter through a window and create brightly lit areas but also dark areas.

AXIS Companion Dome WV is a network dome camera the size of a palm, allowing discreet mounting on the ceiling or wall. It has HDMI output to connect a screen and view the images live. This function is ideal to be used, for example, in retail stores in order to reduce theft.

AXIS Companion Cube LW is a cube-shaped network  camera that can be flexibly placed. It offers a horizontal field of view of 110º for the complete coverage of small spaces. It can be mounted in a corner, on the wall or placed with a table stand. A motion sensor and infrared LED lighting allow video surveillance even in the dark. A built-in microphone and speaker enable audio recording and also speaking to the place in question.

AXIS Companion Dome WV and AXIS Companion Cube LW will be available during the fourth quarter of 2016 through Axis distribution channels
