These technological bets are aligned with the needs of governments and private organizations to have agile identification solutions and robust and secure access.
Multitech OSM Card: This new product combines HID Global's advanced DBond™ and OSM technologies to create a new and highly secure card, enabling storage of information in different parts of the credential using laser engraving, band OSM encoding and chip storage, helping to protect citizens' identities in an increasingly challenging global environment. This enhancement consolidates the legacy of the OSM card, whose performance has been proven in multiple applications around the world. The most common use for this solution is identity cards or state citizenship cards.
eWindow Security Feature: Today, the conventional wired antenna design is only used for the RFID functionality of the proximity card. HID Global's eWindow safety feature (patent pending) is laser customization of the antenna design in order to create a word, a logo or even create a frame when the transparent window is laser customized. Counterfeiters who attempt to remove or replace the transparent window of the card will destroy the RFID functionality.
Full Color Picture UV Security Feature: This new product is an enhancement to HID Global's current portfolio of security features built into the card, intended for its new thin data page offering. This feature makes it possible to locate a full-color UV image that is invisible in daylight but visible when exposed to UV light. By incorporating a UV image into the data page, you greatly increase the level of protection against duplication and reproduction, due to the difficulty involved in aligning three or more UV colors on the page. It is also almost impossible to replicate the color balance used in the original, the original UV image, especially using the standard UV inks that are available in the current market. With all the above, passports will become much more secure and difficult to falsify documents.
Clear window security feature: This security feature consists of a transparent window with a custom image that can be viewed from both sides of the datasheet. The Clear Window feature is available for both versions of the electronic datasheets, the standard configuration (800 μm thick) and the thin configuration (600 μm thick). This security feature is very difficult to reproduce, especially when combined with other security features, such as secure printing, optically variable diffractive imaging (DOVID) devices, or touch relief.
GoID™ Platform for Mobile IDs: HID Global's mobile innovation enables citizen ID credentials to be carried on smartphones, which become end-to-end devices for receiving, presenting and authenticating mobile IDs, all with the highest level of privacy protection. Our goID technology improves the user experience and extends reliability to mobile credential authentication without connection to a computer network, while enabling secure access to government cloud services. The platform works with the company's renowned Seos® technology, which provides a secure way to implement mobile IDs on smartphones, complements physical documents, and adds trust and security to citizens' IDs.
