Anixter present at Intertraffic Mexico 2016

Latin America. Within the framework of the leading event for the traffic and mobility solutions industry, which took place on November 16, 17 and 18 at Centro Citibanamex, Anixter, a distributor specialized in network infrastructure, security and unified communications participated hand in hand with allies such as Avaya, Axis, Barco, Bosch and ISS, proving to be an important player to meet the demands of infrastructure solutions, parking, security, intelligent mobility and traffic management.

"Highways, roads, tunnels, toll systems, among others, are considered critical facilities as they are structures where if any of the systems fail, not only the performance or operation of the equipment is reduced, but even the safety of people is put at risk," said José González, director of business development for Anixter Mexico and Central America.

In addition, he said that all this brings repercussions that can be irremediable, so it is of the utmost importance that these systems work optimally, hence Anixter's commitment to offer complete solutions that ensure their correct operation.

"We have the experience to carry out this mission, we have carried out implementations at all levels, from supplying the Edge, everything that has to do with the transmission of the signal, through monitoring, signal analysis and consoles, to the storage of information in a small data center. We have success stories globally and in several Latin American countries such as Brazil, Colombia or Peru. In Mexico, we have participated in multiple projects as a material supplier, always hand in hand with our business partners and integrators," he said.

For Anixter the objective of participating in events such as Intertraffic, is that the transport industry, as well as the channels that serve the market, perceive it as a trusted technological partner,  which has the experience, sufficient technical knowledge and first-class suppliers to provide the best solutions.

"The idea is that the integrators of this industry feel supported by a partner that will help them from the correct selection of materials to the perfect implementation of the project, this type of facilities require logistics that not any wholesaler can offer, due to the type of materials required, financing, and the necessary technical knowledge. In Anixter we can deliver the products in a timely manner based on the philosophy of selling complete solutions and not only products. We participate in the market, because they themselves have looked for us," González added.

The portfolio that the distributor exhibited during Intertraffic Mexico 2016 is made up of:

  • -Edge Solutions
  • -Transmission Solutions
  • -Control point or monitoring center
  • -Data Center

In addition, the firm had a booth to expose the solutions offered in terms of CCTV systems, sound and calls, panic button systems and emergency calls, access controls, intrusion detection, to name a few; thanks to a screen in live broadcast videos and made an interactive presentation.
