Mexico. QNAP, (Quality Network Appliance Provider) Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of comprehensive networked storage (NAS) solutions and next-generation network video recorders (NVRs), held its most important event of the year, QNAP Partner Day 2016, where it honored its most successful channels nationwide.
David Lira, Business Development Manager for QNAP in Mexico, indicated that the tribute to its business partners is a sign of the interest that the brand reserves to praise the efforts they make not only to take their solutions to the last corner of the national geography, but also for the added value in innovation and development of the potential of their products.
Also present at the celebration were Ivan Hsu, Regional Director of Marketing; Erik Oliveros, Marketing Director for Mexico and Central America, as well as Hernán López, Regional Marketing Coordinator.
The honorees of QNAP Partner Day 2016 were:
Jair Navarrete Trejo and José Aranda Trejo, directors of the company Scandata, located in Mérida, Yucatán.
José Manuel García Quiñones, of Grupo IVRA S.A de C.V., integrator located in the city of León, Guanajuato.
Julio Fortes Muradas and Iker Paz of the company HDS Comunicaciones y Tecnología S.A de C.V. located in Mexico City.
Aramís Villasmil of Nextcom Systems Inc. who was distinguished for having the largest QNAP Customer Service Center for Central America; as well as for being the largest distributor in the region.
Lira indicated that the brand has had an excellent performance since it started operations in Mexico, becoming the most important market for the region. He pointed out that for 2015, QNAP had a growth of 30%, while the 2016 projection that was set at 20% would be fulfilled, despite the environment of financial volatility and the global exchange rate.
Estimates for 2017 would be encouraging, Lira argued, setting a projection of brand expansion, above 20 percent. He also indicated that the sales strategy for this same cycle will place special emphasis on developing vertical markets such as the 'Enterprise Hi-End'; as well as SMEs, which given the specific weight it has in the Mexican economy (by making up more than 80% of the country's formal companies), offers very important growth opportunities for all markets, and that of storage, is one of the most brilliant in this basket of opportunities, he said.
It should be noted that the event was accompanied by the brands Vivotek, OnSSI and Seagate, who offered the more than 70 attendees, technical talks about the technological solutions they offer.
