Argentina. Intersec Buenos Aires reaffirms its leadership as the largest showcase in the Fire, Security and Safety industry, demonstrating once again the importance of the security market in the region. Local and foreign companies presented the latest developments in a sector in constant growth.
It should be remembered that in Argentina, only in terms of electronic security, sales increased by 250% in the last 10 years. The sector employs more than 14,500 people and invoices US$ 755 million annually, according to data from CASEL, the chamber that brings together the sector and one of the organizers of the exhibition.
Other sectors with great prominence were those of Fire and Safety, whose exhibitors were very satisfied with the level of attendance and the potential of the contacts established.
In Argentina, these are items composed largely of local SMEs, who take advantage of the platform provided by the exhibition to expand their markets. In this sense, one of the highlights was the large influx of visitors, which in this edition outnumbered those of 2014. In total, 13,193 professionals and entrepreneurs attended (2014: 12,503) mainly from South America -Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Ecuador- and also from Panama, the United States and Spain, among other countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
But the exhibitors were also the main protagonists. A total of 150 companies (2014: 129) from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Malaysia, the United States, Spain, Turkey, Poland, the Czech Republic and China offered their latest innovations in stands that stood out for their design and creativity, in addition to having innovative proposals that stole the attention of the public.
Intersec Buenos Aires 2018, the International Exhibition of Security, Fire Protection, Electronic Security, Industrial and Personal Protection, will take place from August 29 to 31 at La Rural Predio Ferial in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
