Latin America. Louroe Electronics has announced the launch of its new Intelligent Audio Analytical System also known as the LE-802.
The LE-802 offers a robust, easy-to-use solution for audio monitoring of specific events such as shooting, verbal aggression, broken glass and car alarms. Louroe introduced this technology to the market for the first time at ISC West 2016.
The LE-802 is a customizable audio analytics system, in which the microphone, analysis software and processor are housed in a box that is easy to install, resistant to vandalism and weathering for outdoor applications. The complete software and hardware solution uses the technology of Louroe's microphones which contain wide frequency response, providing 360-degree coverage. The system receives and processes any of the various audio analysis applications offered by Louroe's technology partner Sound Intelligence including applications for the detection of aggression, shooting, glass breakage and car alarms. The system is designed for easy installation on most utility poles or walls.
The Intelligent Audio Analytical System integrates seamlessly with most video management systems and other monitoring systems. Powered by PoE, the "edge" unit analyzes the audio in real time at the capture source. The LE-802 can be programmed to activate output ports, send notifications to devices connected across the network, store or send audio recordings of events, or play pre-recorded messages to a connected speaker system.
"The increased demand for better situational awareness, demand to reduce response time to emergency events and incident deterrence has moved the security industry to invest in and integrate with technologies such as audio," said Richard Brent, CEO of Louroe Electronics. "We are delighted with this change. However, it's not enough just listening. The most important question is whether the audio solution is smart. That's the question our Intelligent Audio Analytics System answers."
