International. Iluminar Inc., a manufacturer specializing in infrared and white light illuminators, has joined axis Communications' Technology Partner Program.
Iluminar brings more than two decades of experience and expertise in technology, innovation and lighting specifications to Axis' outstanding network of 80,000 partners from 179 countries.
Axis is the number one manufacturer of security solutions in the industry and the market leader in network video solutions. Together, Iluminar and Axis' integrated security solutions will provide customers with the highest quality video and the highest performance CCTV.
Now, through the program, numerous hardware vendors, distributors and software developers will be able to integrate with Iluminar's flagship line of low-voltage infrared illuminators and PoE (Power over Ethernet) and white light illuminators. By installing Illuminate products, instead of using the illuminators integrated into the cameras, security professionals will achieve improved image capture, sharper video transmissions (no insects or high luminance zones), longer LED life, and the ability to capture images at a distance of up to 919 feet (280 meters).

Iluminar is renowned for its wide range of infrared products and white light. The company's illuminators come equipped with the latest high-efficiency Osram LEDs, a housing with IP67 environmental protection grade resistant to the most severe weather conditions, and an optional remote control to adjust LED light intensity, photocell sensitivity and timer functions. All infrared and white light illuminators are available at a wide variety of angles, from narrow to panoramic viewing angles, making them ideal for use with Axis' latest multi-sensor camera.
By combining Illuminate lighting with Axis cameras configured for license plate recognition, the cameras can pick up license plates at a distance of up to 450 feet, 24 hours a day.

Illuminar's outstanding products will be showcased at the ISC West trade show, which will be held in Las Vegas, from April 6 to 8, 2016, at the stands of Louroe Electronics, Altronix and Dotworkz.
