Latin America. In a Data Center as well as in offices and small businesses, we can find a wide variety of devices connected to electrical energy that fulfill various functions and require supervision (even personalized) which, thanks to technological advances we could ensure that they can be monitored remotely.
One of the main tools, which help us in the remote management and administration of these devices, is the use of software. With this tool, not only is the operation of the equipment that protects and supports energy managed, but, in the case of service provider companies, it implies economic savings by not moving their personnel to the place where the devices are installed, that is, to the data center.
It is important to promote the culture of energy protection and backup through devices such as No Break (UPS) and suppressors, but it is also important to promote and optimize the use of applications that facilitate the monitoring of these devices that in turn, protect servers, computer equipment, recorders, modems, telecommunications equipment, etc.
In this sense, having our own software for the monitoring of this equipment is to take a first step towards the optimization of both economic and material resources. It should be noted that not all manufacturers of protective equipment and power backup, have different levels of applications for monitoring.
