Mexico. One year after the damage caused by Hurricane Odile, the ME Cabo by Meliá hotel, located in Cabo San Lucas, reopens its doors with an investment of more than 10 million dollars and completely renovated facilities.
The hotel improved its most important areas: lobby, bar, restaurant, beach club, swimming pools, games room, reception and each of its 148 rooms with new furniture, hurricane glass and Kaba Saflok Messenger access control locks, linked with an Inncom energy system to provide the greatest possible comfort and tranquility to its guests.
This solution joins the solid and robust era of access control in hospitality, capable of safeguarding the security and belongings of guests, since:
Saflok Messenger is a two-way wireless communication network that streamlines security procedures, the check-in process and staff efficiency in real time;
Connects to existing hotel infrastructure via Ethernet, Power over Ethernet (PoE) or wireless LAN;
The locks communicate with the hub at every access card use and verification centrally;
Warns about half-open doors;
Cancel proximity cards remotely
Provides detailed information remotely about: movements of people, status of locks, cards and access permissions, access denied;
It allows to locate employees in real time, and warns if the room is already clean, requires maintenance, etc.
