Argentina. According to the statistics of the last two months carried out by the Operations Control Center (CCO) of Ituran Argentina, 50.31% of the total incidents that were registered in the metropolitan area and Greater Buenos Aires corresponded to these four localities.
In the fifth position, and with a participation of less than 10%, appears the party of General San Martín, which also observes a slight growth of 0.29 points compared to its mark of last June.
The time slot in which the highest number of robberies was recorded was between 12:00 and 18:00, with a growth of 7.4 points with reference to the record of the previous two months.
The schedule between 18:00 and 24:00 although it stopped suffering more than half of the robberies, remains the preferred segment with 45.2% of the incidents.
Car thefts on public roads registered a mark of 67.15%, this percentage increased by 5.73 points compared to last June. While the incidents that occurred at the door of the homes of motorists had a decrease of 7.42 points. Despite the decrease in cases at the door of homes, robberies committed on the occasion of "entrants" at home grew 1.35 points from the previous two months.

Simple tips to be alert in order to avoid theft on public roads:
1. Look carefully when getting in or out of the car or at the crossroads that are the moments of greatest vulnerability.
2. Do not stay chatting next to the car, especially at night.
3. Avoid dangerous areas and times. It seems like a no-brainer, but it's effective.
4. If we see something suspicious when getting in or out of the car it is better not to stop and make another turn.
5. In the car, do not bring valuables into view; Keep your purchases in the trunk and remember to travel with the windows closed and the locks on.
6. Store your vehicle on a parking lot. Try not to leave it on public roads.
7. Be alert at traffic lights and traffic jams, as well as in the vicinity of banks, markets and shopping centers.
8. To avoid traffic, do not drive on unfamiliar, lonely or dimly lit streets. Choose illuminated avenues.
