Mexico. Intellego announced that its Global Software Development Center – Mexico has obtained its re-accreditation at CMMI Level 5 (Capability Maturity Model Integration).
CMMI is a model for the improvement and evaluation of processes for the development, maintenance and operation of software applications.
In Mexico, very few organizations have level 5, so this accreditation represents an important difference in the market not only nationally, but worldwide, since it allows to achieve an operational performance managed by productivity and quality metrics that translate into solid improvement programs.
"Having the CMMI accreditation helps us to have a model of evaluation and improvement of processes for the development and maintenance of the software applications that we develop for our clients, in this way we improve and enable their business processes that involve an efficient management of information," said Alberto Balderas, Director of the Global Development Centers of Intellego.
Some of the benefits guaranteed by this accreditation are:
- Leverage the best trinomial: Reliability, Delivery Time and Cost through the operational improvement of your 4Ps: Project, Process, Product and Person. This results in the delivery of applications with world-class quality levels for Intellego's customers.
- Intellego Software Engineers have solid career plans that are measured quantitatively and qualitatively.
- It has developed innovation programs in various areas such as: design of usability experience of our users' software applications, enterprise architecture and mobility, among others.
- There is a timely identification of software findings (requirements and defects) through a solid battery of processes, tools and practices deployed throughout all the teams that make up a project.
- The financial margins of the projects are kept under control at the defined thresholds.
"The CMMI 5 level, in addition to being the highest level that can be obtained, consists of achieving advanced quantitative management, supported by the use of statistical techniques commonly used in mature industries, such as process control, predictive performance models, innovation and quantifiable improvements. This allows Intellego to guarantee a solid delivery in a timely manner of our clients' projects," said Alberto Balderas.
