Colombia. End users of video surveillance technology will now be able to access easy-to-install solutions anywhere with Samsung Techwin's new IP kits. The new IP video kits will be one of the main attractions available to visitors to E+S+S Security Fair Colombia (Bogotá, August 19 to 21).
IP video kits are available in different configurations, with two mini dome cameras and a wide-angle fisheye camera, or with 4, 6 and 12 mini dome cameras, in addition to a 4, 8 or 16 channel NVR (Network Video Recorder) recorder and 18-meter cables for each camera.
Oswaldo Lafee, Marketing Manager of Samsung Techwin Latin America, explains that the reason for this configuration is to reduce the cost of the investment while offering a comprehensive security solution for any space where the installation is carried out.
The executive clarifies that "fisheye cameras have the particularity of covering a lot of space, with a range of 360 degrees and are highly recommended for businesses in not very large areas" and adds that users who acquire these kits "have the possibility of adding one more IP camera to the system, such as the fisheye, because the included NVR recorder offers an additional channel". Once the solution is installed, "the user only connects it to the Internet and can view the images from Samsung Techwin's Ipolis app."
It should be noted that each of these packages is compatible with each other, that is, one or two kits can be purchased that can be integrated through the software.
This new line of IP products are part of Samsung Techwin's strategy to bring video security technology closer to end users, with practical solutions, easy to install and at an affordable price, and are available on the market since July.
Oswaldo Lafee says that Samsung Techwin is leading the campaign to familiarize end users with IP video security technology, in order to turn it into something similar to commodities or commodities "in a similar way as other technologies such as cell phones have done."
