Peru. In December, they will possibly install a modern video surveillance system in the now convulsed sugar district of Tumán (Lambayeque region), announced the district mayor, Rolando Barboza Díaz.
The burgomaster Barboza Díaz said that the project includes the installation of 12 high-resolution video cameras that are planned to be placed in the critical points invaded by crime, which have been determined through studies carried out by the National Police itself.
Likewise, the installation of these cameras is part of a comprehensive citizen security package approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, with a budget of more than 2 million soles.
On the other hand, the mayor of Tuman indicated that the Operations Center will also be implemented, which will have a Rapid Aid Post interconnected 24 hours a day with the sectoral police station of Tumán, in a place located on the road to Chongoyape.
Finally, he informed that this package also includes the purchase of two vans of which one will be donated to the police station, in addition to six motorcycles to reinforce the security work of the municipal serenazgo.
