Argentina. A few days ago the tender was carried out that will allow the installation of surveillance cameras for ten Camineros Posts bordering La Pampa. To this end, the Government makes an investment of $1,200,000 (US$115,000), framed in the Video Surveillance System of the Comprehensive Security Plan.
The bidding ceremony was headed by the Minister of Government, Justice and Security, Leonardo Villalva, who confirmed that it is the incorporation of five video surveillance cameras by Puesto Caminero benefiting the border posts in this first stage of: Catriló, Fortín Pampa, Realicó, Rolón, Santa Isabel, Jacinto Arauz, La Adela, Trebolares, Chamaicó and Puente Dique.
Villalva summarized that the acquisition of this Video Surveillance System is part of the Comprehensive Security Plan that the Pampas Government has been carrying out and that "will allow the control of access and everything that has to do with the internal functioning of the Caminero Post. It is a new investment in security that the Government of La Pampa makes in this to provide technology in order to "be close", in this work that the Provincial Police does with an adequate technological equipment, "he specified.
In that way, he recalled that this initiative is due "to a Video Surveillance System already installed in General Pico. In Santa Rosa we are about to inaugurate, also in a first stage, 110 cameras delimited according to security criteria. To this we add different technologies that have been applied in 5 localities of the Province, where the Police also provides infrastructure because the monitoring is carried out in the different Police Stations, "he argued.
He added that since the current administration of the Government has been working intensively on security "we are making an investment that Governor Jorge has been saying that is without a budgetary limit. In this case with a contribution also from the National Government through a program that is carried out in conjunction with the Ministry of National Security, "said the minister.
Already finishing, he clarified that it is a first stage of the Video Surveillance System, but that the final objective is that all the Camineros Posts have this cutting-edge technology "and reinforce the security of Santa Rosa with a total of 200 cameras, and in General Pico with a second stage of 100 cameras. We are very happy to be able to make this envelope opening," he concluded.
The bidding companies were four and after the corresponding analysis of the quotes will proceed to the award.
