Axis presents its new bullet-style network camera

altMexico. Axis Communications, a global leader in network video, has announced the addition to its line of fixed cameras for 24-hour outdoor surveillance with AXIS Q1765-LE Network.  AXIS Q1765-LE with Infrared (IR) LED function and outdoor container has a powerful 18x motorized optical zoom with autofocus to cover long distances with HDTV 1080p resolution, sharp and clear.

The bullet-style network camera was designed to monitor entrances, exits and perimeters, as well as parking lots and streets with post mounting option.  High-efficiency infrared LEDs automatically adapt within AXIS Q1765-LE and emit enough infrared light in the dark so that the camera can see at least 15 meters away, in the widest field of view and up to 40 meters in your telephoto view.

This intelligent, infrared illumination function automatically adjusts to match its beam to the camera's field of view, making it especially beneficial for installations that require round-the-clock surveillance without additional artificial light.

Axis' unique Corridor Format also allows effective control of long vertical scenes in 9:16, such as city roads and streets for traffic monitoring and fence lines for perimeter security.

"AXIS Q1765-LE offers the ability to give a wide-angle image and a detailed image with telephoto from a single device, making it an outdoor camera with built-in infrared LEDs ideal for a wide variety of verticals such as transport, stations and urban surveillance," says Fernando Esteban, Country Manager of Axis Communications, "With products like the new AXIS Q1765-LE we continue our commitment to provide innovative products of high quality to solve specific situations of video surveillance, while offering high video quality, reliability and easy to implement."

The compact AXIS Q1765-LE is lightweight yet rugged.  The camera is 4X IP66/NEMA rated, making it water and dust resistant.  Powerful event management capabilities with intelligent video features such as alarm manipulation and motion detection.  Reliable Arctic temperature control allows starting in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 50°C, making AXIS Q1765-LE perfect for installations in challenging weather locations.

The Axis Q7436 video encoding card is supported by the industry's largest video management software base through the Axis Partner Application Development program as well as AXIS Camera Station.  The video encoding card includes support for video hosting and ONVIF for easy system integration.  The camera is easy to install thanks to its lightweight design, the installation of a single cable with PoE support and AC/DC current.
