Colombia. The interest of manufacturers and distributors of safety equipment to be competitive and deliver their novelties in Latin America has led to the 13th International Security Fair E + S + S, which will be held in Corferias between October 9 and 11, grow by 70% when comparing the years 2012 and 2013.
The growth is presented in a general way both in the number of exhibitors, as well as in the exhibition and conference area in the academic agenda of the fair. Patricia Acosta Zuleta, director of Pafyc: International Trade Fair, indicated that this year 60 new companies from the various security sectors have been linked, which will have the 12,000 square meters of the Great Hall of Corferias and exhibitors have registered 60 update conferences on topics related to the event.
The three days of the event are an opener to the multiple businesses that start there, but that multiply, taking into account that security is a transversal sector that presents solutions to the vertical environment, in which all the subsectors of the economy are located, such as: finance, commerce, construction, transport, agriculture, housing, industry and mining, among others.
Acosta Zuleta revealed that in the E+S+S there will be the staging of various technology processes by the exhibitors, mainly innovations in physical, electronic, computer and industrial security.
Visitors, about 12,000 who are expected, will find in halls 11 to 16 everything related to electronic security, while hall 17 brings together the exhibition of fire control and industrial security and halls 18 to 20 host computer security.
The director of Pafyc explained that technology, in terms of security, has caused great advances; for example, 19 years ago, when E+S+S&S began, consumers had analog devices, while today they also have digital IP technology, which generates greater efficiency in the automation of processes, and even provides help to the environment by disconnecting processes that no one is using.
The International Segurity Fair: Efficiency + Security + Safety, (E + S + S), is an event organized by Pafyc International Trade Fair, in conjunction with the International Business and Exhibition Center of Bogotá, Corferias, and that in 2013 brings together 300 exhibitors, with the representation of countries such as: Germany, United States, Brazil, Canada, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Korea, China, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Great Britain, Taiwan and Colombia.
