Latin America. At the end of last November, the 3rd SoftGuard International Business Forum was held, with the participation of 30 executives from leading companies in alarm monitoring from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, Spain, Bolivia, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
The place chosen this time was the Wyndham Playa Blanca Hotel, in Panama. An exclusive place on the beach with All Inclusive regime 24Hs.
On the first day, Friday 23, a welcome was held on the beach for all attendees, as well as the presentation of the forum with the detail of the topics to be discussed, starting the business forum and leaving aside the concerns to put the best of each one in pursuit of achieving a teamwork that allows to create, innovate and diagram the future business of alarm monitoring.
In the evening the meeting took place in the Aqua restaurant, there was an a la carte dinner and the presentation of each of the participating companies was made.
On Saturday 24 at the beginning of the day they met in the Ocean Ballroom and the activities that would last throughout the day began fully.
The topics discussed were: Massive services at lower cost and provision, aimed at lower socio-economic segments, segmentation of special services, automation of collection, reduction of payment arrears and collection cost, territorial expansion of the business, monitoring and control of services provided by the state, video alarm and video monitoring, specialization of the sales force, franchise model applied to monitoring, web pages that have: online chat, ticket support, payments and shopping cart, among others.
At noon there was a break for lunch, where we raffled a Samsung Galaxy Tablet and the winner was Joanna Branca from the company Panama Security Supplies. Dinner that night was held at the El Muelle restaurant and then a fun time at the hotel disco.
On Sunday 25 in the morning the farewell of the forum was held and for those who stayed until the afternoon activities were done on the beach and a football game.
During the forum, everything discussed was turned to the Virtual Forum as a Google Group, which was active for all the subsequent work and evolution of the topics towards their concretion.
The creation of an association of leading softguard user monitoring companies was also discussed, with the intention of developing standards and supporting each company internationally so that they can achieve international business agreements with multinational corporations, among other objectives. This will be a way to give a legal mold to the group before third parties. SoftGuard is in charge of the creation of this association.
