International. Two innovative facts will be presented by the Inteligensa Group to the European market at Cartes 2012: its new smart card factory, Intelicard, and modern smart products and solutions in means of payment and authentication.
These products are produced in the Group's European subsidiary, Intelicard, established in Iglesias (Sardinia, Italy). Intelicard has the most modern technological facilities and the most advanced production systems, becoming the great alternative for the European smart card market.
This broad and modern portfolio of products will be available to attendees at Cartes 2012, the world's most important exhibition on intelligent payment, authentication and security solutions, which takes place from November 6 to 8 in Paris. Among the inteligensa Group products present at Cartes will be smart bank and identification cards, EMV Dual Interface cards, commercial and health cards, micropayment and NFC devices, prepaid phone cards and its latest line, InteliPos, a new generation of points of sale, which incorporates EMV payment technology, magnetic stripe and contactless technology.
In accordance with the Inteligensa Group's environmental social responsibility policy, Intelicard has taken an important ecological initiative by installing on its roof one of the largest arrays of solar panels that produce 1 Mw of electricity, taking advantage of the intense Sardinian sun.
